I really felt this in regard to today's politics. I try not to read what "that guy" is doing or saying because it only upsets me but by not touching the subject I allow it to grow and intensify. I'm going to join in more. Thanks.

The fact of the matter is, engaging doesn’t always mean diving into the noise. It can mean choosing where you step in, how you speak, and what kind of presence you bring when you do.
Because if this idea is true, and I believe it is, then it applies just as much to how we engage as whether we engage.
You don’t have to match the tone to make an impact.
Sometimes the most meaningful influence is measured, steady, and hard to shake.
