Issac, as always THANKS! for a fantastic post. I’ve mentioned (to you) before of my struggles at work. It came to a crossroads a few weeks ago. Now I have to make critical decisions on how to make my job work. One Day a Time is a great start. One Small Step Every Day.

Thanks you sir!

You're not alone in your struggles. I too have hit a rough patch in my life. We will both get through this period no matter the outcome.

All you can do is all you can do.

If you're doing the best you can in the moment the future will take care of itself.

Issac, As always you’re a sage!

Just have to do the best we can, one day at a time. I think you’ve mentioned how journaling can help. I’ve never journaled before, ever. I’m going to try it-everyday. Putting my thoughts down on paper. Referring back as necessary. The good, the bad and ugly.

I wish you and your family a safe, happy, healthy and prosperous 2026.

Haha I appreciate it Mohan. I don't consider myself a sage, but that is a title I think I like.

I don't journal much but I do write a lot (primarily for this).

Like you've seen I do add the good and the bad in my writings to hopefully help others.

Thank you for the new year wishes! I hope 2026 will be an incredible year for you as well.

I also just wrote a new article that I hope may help you (the conversation helped me!).

Thanks!

Great article,we'll written. I have faced many dark days in my time and the philosophy of one day at a time and one step at a time is so very true. You are not alone walking through these totally dark paths, and it's not those that have been through it that are there with you, but God. In those deepest crevices there are times no one can be there to get you through except God and He is the one who is giving you strength and shaping you by those trials. Please dont leave Him out of life. The philosophers have some great wisdom, but God is the author of it. So mamy passages of His Word gives strength and comfort in these times. A close relationship with our Savior is the essence to bring us through the violent storms of life with a peace and even a joy knowing I may not be in control but He is. "He is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." Prov. 18:24b
