I recently left my job. I didn't have a plan, but I have always wanted to focus on improving my programming and design skills. So, when I finally left, I started getting confused and kept questioning myself whether I had made the right choice. Learning programming and design is a long and rough road ahead. It is not smooth and very lonely when you do not see the outcome immediately. Reading your writing reminded me to keep pushing even though it will be lonely, and I won’t get any reward immediately. So I really appreciate.
I am glad my writing can be an encouragement. I did go through the same thing a couple years ago. I left my job to pursue social media marketing. It was tough at first: long hours, stress, and uncertainty. But with time it eventually paid off and I got a job doing social media marketing. This role generally requires a bachelors degree, but since I applied myself and dedicated time to mastering the skill I was able to accel in the role. Keep going, Oluwatobi, it will all click eventually and you'll be glad you made the jump.
Issac, Thanks! Similar to what you mentioned in the post, the last couple of weeks have been exhausting for me. Lots of things at work. But as you said, the little things, the work that is mind numbing, has to be done. It’s the only way I’ll learn. At least, I sure hope so. Only time will tell.
I hear you. Gota keep moving foward.
Everyday, Francisco, every single day 🔥

Thanks for the post!
Hey, Mohan, you're a legend! Thanks again for another meaningful comment!
It's always the boring work that produces the biggest results. You're on the right track.
If you're willing to do the boring work you're ahead of 90% of people that would rather do the flashy thing.
Keep going!
Issac, keep up the great posts on Substack!
